reader tip trailer dolly
Every boat owner knows how much of a pain it can be to move your rig around in the driveway or garage, and while the trailer tongue jack has that big plastic wheel, it’s not really designed for serious duty. I built a better dolly by cutting a slot for the wheel in a piece of 3⁄4-inch plywood, and then screwed the board onto a wooden furniture mover. Now I can easily move my boat from side to side and forward and backward in the driveway, and make fine adjustments when hooking up to the hitch.
