Rainy’s Premium Craft Fur

Rainy's has introduced a new line of Premium Craft Fur that ranges from 3 to 4 inches in length and comes in virtually any color.

Finding the right color, movement and length of natural hairs is a matter of biology and dye. For synthetics you’d think it’d be easier, but it’s not. For example, while craft fur can be found in a variety of colors and offers great movement in the water, it usually is far too short to be used for anything bigger than bonefish flies – until now.

Rainy’s has introduced a new line of Premium Craft Fur that ranges from 3 to 4 inches in length and comes in virtually any color. The longer length allows tiers to substitute bucktail for craft fur, and it’s perfect for many saltwater patterns. Rainy’s Premium Craft Fur is economical, easy to tie with, readily works on most streamer flies and withstands toothy predators better than natural fibers.

The Premium fur comes in 25 industry standard colors, including white, tan, yellow, orange, chartreuse, red, pink, blue, olive and black. It is sold in 5- by 5-inch square pelts.
