If you have kids and you like boating, you know the story. Getting them to wear a personal flotation device (PFD) is about as difficult as mixing oil and water. Stearns and LEGO Group toy company have teamed up to change that.
A new line of playful marine products from Stearns includes a Coast Guard-approved PFD made in two sizes, for children under 30 pounds and for those from 30 to 50 pounds. The Child’s Heads-Up Vest features detachable pockets and easy-to-grab LEGO Brick buckles. All vests have Stearns’ quality construction using Crosstech flotation foam, along with LEGO’s graphics and bright blue, red and yellow colors.
