Every now and then I like to clean the snaps for the enclosure on my boat with a wire brush so they work better. I worried about cleaning some of the snaps, because the gelcoat could get damaged. So I took a plastic lid from a can of peanuts and cut a snap-size hole in the middle. Now I just place the lid over the snap, and the lid protects the gelcoat.
