Just when you thought scissors were scissors, Dr. Slick Instruments for Anglers introduces their new titanium fly-tying scissors ¿-five times sharper and 10 times harder than tungsten. These new nitride-hardened titanium scissors are far less fragile than tungsten carbide and are considered ¿”ifetime¿”tools. Three different models are available, either individually or in a set, including 3.5-inch arrow scissors, 4-inch all-purpose scissors and 4.5-inch hair scissors. The scissors cost around $50 separately or $158 for a gift set in a plastic fly box, or up to $173 in a leather wallet.
