n my tackle box, an old pair of nail clippers sure comes in handy when I want to cut the tag end of a knot off good and close, but those metal handles are hard to grip in wet conditions. I slipped some rubbery heat-shrink tubing over the handles to improve my grip. No more dropped clippers when the bite is on.
