The queenfish is a mix of jack and mackerel—a true fly fisherman’s dream. For those not familiar with the species, Gin-Clear Media produced a feature film called PREDATOR that highlights top predatory gamefish around the world. Some of the species shot, in particular the queenfish, use pure speed to outrun and crush their prey at the surface. Check out the trailer below to see intense attacks and takes from queenfish, something Australian anglers are all too familiar with. Oh, and they get big too, world record is close to 40 pounds. —Ed.
