New Trick from an Old Skillet

st_skillet_165x147.gif

If the jack wheel on my trailer is on grass, gravel or soft pavement, it’s hard to move the trailer tongue so that the hitch is directly over the ball. Make the hookup easier by placing an old skillet under the jack wheel. Sold for next to nothing at many garage sales, a skillet provides a hard surface for the wheel to easily roll around on, but it won’t roll off as it often does with a piece of steel, stone or wood. Plus the skillet handle allows you to place it exactly where you want it.
