The new Scoop Anchor from West Marine represents years of incremental improvements in scoop-style anchor design. Created and tested by the Manson team in New Zealand, the scoop anchor features sophisticated shapes and angles that combine with an improved holding-power-to-weight ratio that is tops in the West Marine anchor family. Constructed of high-strength alloy steel with a thick, hot-dipped galvanized finish, the anchor quickly sets and automatically resets with changing wind and current conditions in all bottom types, and it integrates with most existing tackle and bow rollers. Available from 21 to 305⁄16 inches for boats 9 to 50 feet in length.
