We all know of the exploits of Joan Wulff and her late, great husband Lee. Joan's latest endeavor is the development of the newest member of the Triangle Taper family of fly lines, the Joan Wulff Signature Fly Line.

Designed to be an easy-casting weight-forward, the Joan Wulff Signature line features an ivory head that changes color to an orange shooting line to help the caster visually. "The change of color between the weighted section and the shooting line facilitates perfect pickups for longer casts," Wulff says.

The line has a 32-foot head, which helps the rod load more quickly, and features an 8-foot handling line between the head and shooting line, which provides the caster with a tactile reference of the proper casting length. The handling line tapers down to the shooting line, which helps eliminate "hinging" and premature wear.

The Joan Wulff Signature floating line is available in sizes up to 7/8 and retails for $53.
