In total darkness, the compact and lightweight 640 reveals the heat from boats, buoys, flotsam and people in the water at greater distances than ever — up to 1,200 yards. Its images display at 640-by-512 resolution, which tops the Ocean Scout line. An InstAlert mode highlights the hottest objects in red.
