The buildup of condensation inside storage compartments on a boat can corrode expensive lures. A cheap way to prevent such damage is to prop open the compartment lids with one half of a tennis ball when the boat is idle. They allow condensation to evaporate and, unlike propping the lids with sticks, the tennis ball halves are safer and won’t damage my boat if I accidentally step on a propped lid.
