The Lowrance Elite series of color fish finder and fish finder/GPS chart plotter units feature DownScan Imaging color displays sized for installation on smaller consoles or for stand-alone addition to existing suites.

Capable of displaying isolated targets and secondary structures, DSI sonar helps anglers recognize variations in bottom type and hardness. The Elite-5x DSI and Elite-5 DSI feature a low-profile dual-frequency Skimmer transom-mount transducer and temperature sensor that operates at 455 kHz or 800 kHz. The Elite-5 DSI fish finder/chart plotter model features a 16-channel GPS WAAS (wide area augmentation system) antenna and a built-in U.S. base map that includes coastal and offshore maps with depth contour details as great as 1,000 feet. Elite-5 DSI units also feature a waterproof microSD memory-card slot supporting Navionics Gold and HotMaps Premium charts, among others. Starting at $549; www.lowrance.com
