Joining the Braid line of Slammer Jigs this season are three new fish-slaying models. First up is the sardine-shaped Sardelle (below), featuring a rippled side and a smooth side that results in a wiggling, wobbling action. It’s available in sizes ranging from 1 3/4 oz. to 4 1/2 oz., and has a large, heavy-duty split ring for easy hook changes. The Sea Gator will meet a variety of chores, from slow-trolling to skip-jigging, and ranges in size from 2 1/2 oz. to 11 oz. The elongated body, wide tail section and flat underside of this jig results in a tight swimming action. The Slammer Squid (above) is designed for trolling, and comes in 4 head sizes, ranging from 1 1/2 to 5 1/4 oz. The lure’s stabilizing wings feature a reflective prism finish and are molded into the chromed head, while the durable, vinyl skirt provides a “tentacle-izing” wiggle.
