In the System

Shimano debuted its ORCA Top Water System at ICAST in 2012, and the ORCA pencil baits are already making a big splash. The lures — designed to be fished with Stella or Sustain reels paired with Shimano’s Terez ORCA rods — feature Shimano’s proprietary internal-weight positioning for irresistible, erratic pop-and-dive action in the water. The ORCA 160 is 6.3 inches long and weighs 2 ounces; the ORCA 190 is 7.5 inches long and weighs 3 ounces. Both sizes are available in blue sardine, clear silver, green mackerel, black silver, purple gold and pink silver.

Price: $24.99 to $29.99
