It seems that speed is everything these days, even when it comes to fly rods. For casters in search of fast action, East Coast Fisherman offers its new ECF-X Ti.

The goal when building the ECF-X (Efficient Casting Fulcrum-Xtra fast) was that it achieve maximum velocity with minimal effort. The company used Digital Optical Impressioning and CAD engineering to design the ECF-X Ti. The rod produces a large exchange of power during the casting stroke to help you make longer false casts, carry more line and shoot it farther. It has an extremely aggressive taper, strong backbone and a sensitive tip for delicate presentations. Made from ultra-high-modulus graphite, the rod is finished with Tich guides and tip top. It has a large premium cork handle and a black anodized reel seat with two lock nuts to keep your reel secure.
