Simms Keen Deck Sandal

Keep your footing in the boat or out...

On the boat or wading the flats, the new Simms’ Keen Deck Sandal is sure to be a hit with fly-fishermen in salt water everywhere.

The fast-drying shoe features a 1,000-denier polyester webbing strap
system that securely holds your foot whether on the deck of a skiff or waist-deep in marl. The shoe also has an anatomically molded, radial-edge foot bed and heavy-duty rubber toe bumper.

We had a chance to try out these shoes on a recent trip to Honduras, and one thing fly-fishermen will appreciate is the nonfouling design (leaving errant fly lines to snag on other objects).

The foot bed’s antimicrobial treatment prevents odor, and the sole is made from an antislip, nonmarking H2O grip rubber compound. The shoe is available in sizes 7 to 13 in either Coal (pictured) or Gray, with an MSRP of $89.95. For more information, www.visitsimmsfishing.com.
