The winner of our Umpqua Feather Merchants contest is Dave Heyes of Fremont, California. Dave’s winning entry, submitted on 2/25/2005, was selected at random from all the eligible entries received.
The Prize: Our feature “A Reflection of Nature” in the March/April 2005 issue describes baitfish flies and the characteristics of bait that are most important to fly-tiers. With the help of Umpqua Feather Merchants (www.umpqua.com ), we put together a complete set of these flies to raffle off. This complete package of flies, over 20 flies in all, is worth more than $100.
