Skeeter Boats is proud of its rich, seven-decades long history and heritage. The bass-boat pioneer was the first in that niche to receive US Coast Guard approval to launch a V-hull pad design and to welcome a 150 hp engine to its transoms.

In the 1990s, the company turned its attention to salt water, and in 2020, it launched its massive SX2550 bay boat in fishing- and family-focused models, both featuring an oversize console with a built-in head and a Carolina-flare hull.

At its facility in Kilgore, Texas, Skeeter uses advanced manufacturing techniques and materials borrowed from aerospace applications. It has received 20 consecutive Customer Satisfaction Index awards.

Skeeter’s new SX2350 covers fishing options from shallow to deep—or as the company says, “from bayou water to blue water.”

It’s similarly flexible, Skeeter says, with -application. From hardcore fishing to pleasant family cruising, higher gunwale sides provide a dry ride and security for all pursuits.

The deep hull is secure in big water, while its -13-inch draft makes at home in the bay too.

A port box in the bow accommodates even long rods; its counterpart at starboard is insulated for fish storage.

Editor Says

I really like the expansive nonskid casting decks—both fore and aft—on the new Skeeter SX2350. Not only do they provide plenty of room for fishing, they also create abundant space below for elements such as rod lockers and gear stowage forward, as well as livewells and a flip-up seat aft.  – Jim Hendricks, Staff Editor, Fishing Group
