******Q ******I am going to Martinique for vacation. What sort of fly-fishing opportunities can I expect in the French Antilles?
The French Antilles are part the chain of volcanic islands stretching along the west side of the Atlantic Ocean. As such, the islans have been thrust up from the seafloor and likely contain few flats and have little shallow water surrounding them. (There are exceptions the that generality, but it holds true most of the time.)
