The Bones are here and hungry

The weather has been perfect, with nice clear sunny days, coupled with clean and clear water which makes for excellent visibility for sight casting. The Bones have been very cooperative as well which again makes for a great time to be spent on the flats fishing for them. There have been nice pods of fish with six to eight fish in a pod, averaging four to eight pounds regularly making their appearances. I’ve been seeing some really large fish over ten pounds and one day a giant that I’m sure was over twenty, no joking here, it was a behemoth of a Bone. There have also been a lot of Trevally in the three to ten pound size cruising through the area with an occasional Giant Trevally too. I just ran across one in a foot and a half of water that was easily forty pounds, way to big for the tackle that I regularly use, it had to swim sideways because of its size. The fish are here, let’s go catch some, Aloha, Capt Clay
