8-18-08 The summer time pattern is on, weather wise that is. Clouds and rain would build up quickly and the sun would come right back just as quickly. The heat and storms have kept me off the water for awhile. Good day on the water today Trout and Reds were eager to take flies today. When the clouds would darken the pressure would drop the bait would get bunched up and nervous and the Trout and Reds would get active. Shooting a fly into nervous bait you really don’t know what’s going to take it. Trout, Red or Drum the guys had lots of fun today. The winds have the water stained I sure will be glad when the water clears up, love sight fishing the Reds hunting in the shallows.
