7-14-08 Back from vacation 2 weeks on the beach at Tybee island Ga. had a great time and beautiful weather. The marsh around the area reminds me of the Louisiana marsh spoke with some of the area charter captains and talked a little fish in between dippin in the ocean. Adding a fishing report we went on just before leaving for Georgia.
6-25-08 Reds and Tails today. Started off on the flats before first light lots of bait and plenty of eager Reds willing to play. We had to dodge a few thunder clouds and as fast as they would blow up the water would settle back down. During this process we had 4 hookups on Mr. Red and with the lake back to slick calm we headed out in search of tails Tripletails that is. After searching down a few trap lines we spotted a pair basking in the sun one was eager to play about 4 pounds nice size and fight. The winds picked up again this time the cloud front stretched all the way from the north end to the south end across Lake Borgne time to leave and head for the dock. The off and on cloud cover kept the heat down which made for a great day on the water. Heading out for vacation tomorrow.
