8-21-08 Today was a change loaded with 125 shrimp Trout was the target for the day. The first rig in Lake Borgne was all it took today once the guys learned the technique Trout after Trout made it to the box. Technique today was not to set the hook on the first good bump let the trout work the shrimp around its mouth wait for a steady pull on the line then set the hook. The weather was great today no wind and no rain. After the shrimp were gone we ran over to alligator bend and put on popping corks and plastic beetles lots of under sized trout and a couple of keepers then it was back to the dock.
