With the extremely low spring tides we’re having, the tailing reds have been awesome! It’s a quick bite, you have to be were they are at low water, and the tails will only wave for a couple hours at best before the waters too high and you have to resort to sighting cruisers (this is fun too!), but in that time, it can be crazy. It’s been all crab flys since they’re feeding on mud crabs.. drop it on their nose, let it sink, then strip oh so slow until you either feel the tick tick or just dead weight.. strip hard and hold on!
