Apalachicola Fishing Report

Tripletail are here and they're biting if you can make the cast!

Tripletail are here and they’re biting if you can make the cast! Capt. Chad had one trip recently that hooked about 17 of them, and believe me, it’s not all that easy.

The last couple of days have felt more like summer at the lake in Michigan than Mid-May in North Florida. Cool evenings and low humidity have made it great for porch sitting! It’s already warming right back up to normal for the weekend & the forecast looks good for fishing.

We’re still hearing about pompano being caught off the beach by some early risers and flounder fishing from the old $2 bridge pier looks promising.

Fishing Schedule – Capt. Chad had a cancellation for Bayfishing this Saturday and several other bay guides are open this weekend. Capt. Anthony Stone & Capt. David Heinke are also open for Flats fishing on Saturday. Charlie is open tomorrow for Offshore and I think Dolph might still be available this weekend.

Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching and we do have some availability for Flats, Bay and Offshore trips.

Hope to hear from you soon!
