Well folks, T.S. Alberto gave us a nice, steady soaking that we sorely needed but the Apalachicola area did not seem to suffer any severe damage from the storm. It was good practice for those of us a little rusty on our hurricane preparedness actions. We didn’t even lose power here in town or on the island and the power always goes out here. You know that puddle the Weather Channel showed on St. George Island? It’s always there every time it rains – has been for years. Anyhow, thank goodness it was a mild event so early in the season.
We’ve got about 10 guides out today – generally fishing after a storm is pretty darn good, but I’ll have to let you know details later when I send my normal fishing report. Thanks for the calls & emails! Lets go fishing!
