Welcome to Key West, one of the most prolific fishing destinations in the world, and the headliner at the end of the 800-island, 125-mile-long Florida Keys archipelago. Home base for this adventure: Lunara Bay, a whole different experience than the typical accommodations in the Keys. Lunara Bay is a collection of 26 individual, sleekly designed waterfront estates – a home away from home that may be nicer than the home you’re away from. This waterfront enclave is the launch point for Salt Water Sportsman creators Tyler Wald and Brent Schirmer as they head out into with Captain Jose Rodriguez of Above and Below Fishing to chase some of the Keys’ hardest-fighting and best-tasting fish (including mutton snapper and swordfish) for a proper hook and cook.

Brent Schirmer is a content creator based in Tampa Bay, Florida. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2018, then moved back to the Tampa Bay Area and began filming his fishing and camping trips. Almost 5 years and over 300 videos on YouTube later, Brent focuses on high quality, educational videos for inshore and offshore saltwater fishing for fishermen of all skill-sets and experience.
Tyler Wald (Suns Out Fishing)
Tyler Wald is a full-time content creator born and raised in Miami, Florida. Tyler has known from the age of 5 that fishing is his undeniable passion. After spending his 20s working sales jobs he decided to take a leap of faith and pursue that passion in hopes of creating a fulfilling career. He now creates a diverse array of fishing content showcasing his adventures on the water both local and abroad!
