Tuna Washdown

st_tip3_440x192.jpg

I’ve had a lot of success using the washdown hose on my boat to simulate the commotion of breaking bait when I troll for bluefin tuna. Once my live mackerel are positioned to troll, I tie the hose to a rail, or any spot where it won’t be in the way, with spare line. Then I turn on the hose and position it so the water falls right over my bait. It’s just a matter of waiting for the fish to show.
