For an easy and inexpensive way to make sure you always know where your boat‘s drain plug is, store it on the wrench you use to remove it. Most adjustable wrenches have a hole in the handle. I glued a base from a Toro sprinkler head into one. Many homeowners have plenty of old yard-sprinkler parts lying around, and other brands also might work. The base that holds the spray nozzle fits perfectly into the wrench handle, and the female threaded end that connects to the irrigation pipe matches most standard brass drain plugs.
