The 26 SH (Special Hybrid), the latest addition to the Parker Boats lineup, elevates the boatbuilder’s time-tested design to another level, combining added versatility, great performance, and a number of features and enhancements sure to meet the demands of today’s anglers and their families.
Company engineers spent two years designing the hybrid bay model to excel at fishing inshore and offshore, while providing the desired comforts and conveniences to simply relax and have fun on the water with family and friends.
Boasting an 8-foot-6-inch-wide platform, the 26 SH offers considerable fishing room, including ample fore and aft casting decks. Anglers will love its twin recirculating livewells (30 gallons each) with clear lids to easily keep tabs on the bait supply, 37-gallon fish box to ice down the day’s catch, and considerable rod stowage, including multiple flush-mount holders on the port and starboard covering boards, and four rocket launchers, with the potential to add more as options. The boat also comes pre-rigged for a bow trolling-motor, and includes lockable storage, trim tabs, and a jack plate to jump up and cruise in shallow water.
Padded seating and cupholders throughout, Fusion stereo with six speakers to play your favorite tunes, a freshwater washdown to keep the deck clean and the crew cool, and a number of available options complete this well-rounded fishing machine that is sure to be a hit, even with those who enjoy relaxing at the sand bar more than chasing after game fish.
Performance testing conducted by our sister brand Boating shows that the Parker 26 SH, powered by a Yamaha F300 (standard power), reached a top speed of 46.3 mph at 6,000 rpm, for 1.73 mpg. At an efficient cruising speed of 26.2 mph, turning 3,500 rpm, the boat achieved 2.82 mpg for a range of 246 miles.
