We have been fishing the September moon aboard the Black Pearl in St. Thomas, USVI-BVI. We are happy to report that we had a good September despite several passing hurricanes, tropical waves and a good amount of rain. The blue marlin bite was still decent and we managed to catch several marlin and had at least five on that were upwards of 500 pounds and one that we estimated to be at least 750 pounds. It looks like we should have much better weather for the October full moon and that will wrap up marlin season on the famous North Drop for 2010.
