A report from the Marine Fish Conservation Network (MFCN) compiles the methods and conclusions of more than 75 recent research papers that have examined marine life in U.S. waters. Sent to governors of coastal states and members of Congress, the report, “Body of Evidence, The Fragile State of America’s Oceans – A Review of Recent Science and a Framework for Recovery,” was issued just as the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy prepared to release its recommendations for the reform of America’s ocean management system.
