NOAA: Anglers Releasing Fish, Supporting Jobs

A report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) indicates that anglers are catching and releasing fish more often. Though catches by marine recreational fishermen have risen by 11 percent since 1994, the actual number of fish kept has remained flat. A related report said marine recreational fishing supported nearly 350,000 jobs and generated $30.5 billion for the economy. For more information, visit www.noaa.gov.
