Dan Richards, an avid outdoorsman with strong southern California ties, has been appointed to the state Fish & Game Commission by Governor Arnold Shwarzenegger.

Richards, who spent his youth hunting and fishing in the hills of West Virginia, replaces Judd Hanna, who resigned as commissioner last year at the request of the governor.

A Republican, Richards, 55 and a resident of Upland, CA, founded and is the chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Commercial-Inland Empire.  Serving as the chairman of the San Bernardino County Fish and Game Commission, Dan is also a member of the San Clemente Trap and Skeet Club, Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited and Quail Unlimited.
