More than three years after a rogue wave tossed Scott Douglas and Rich St. Pierre from their 26-foot Regulator off Nantucket, the boat has washed up over 3,500 miles away in Spain, accoring to a report in the Nantucket Inquirer & Mirror.

The Queen Bee was found near the town of Llanes by the Spanish Coast Guard, according to the report. It was covered in barnacles, but both outboards were still attached and intact.

“We heard this huge roar and looked immediately to our left and there was a huge wave that was cresting and breaking above the top of the boat,” St. Pierre told the Inquirer & Mirror. “The next thing I knew we were both in the water and the boat was taking off away from us.”
