Anglers can win a fantasy fishing trip from WFN

North America's most deprived angler to fish first-class in Tobago, British Columbia or the Bahamas

WFN: World Fishing Network, the only 24-hour fishing lifestyle network is awarding North America’s most deprived and deserving angler the fishing trip of his or her dreams in the network’s 3rd Annual “Adopt an Angler” contest (running through July 31, 2009).

The Grand Prize winner and his or her favorite fishing buddy will get to choose from three spectacular fishing expeditions: fly fish at the exclusive West Coast Fishing Club in Canada’s Queen Charlotte Islands British Columbia; stay at Stonehaven Villas and sport fish with Hard Play Fishing Charters in Tobago; or stay at the Abaco Beach Resort and sport fish with Reel Candy Sportfishing Charters in the Bahamas.   The one Grand Prize winner will also receive $500 spending cash.

To enter, anglers simply submit a video or essay (with or without a photo) explaining why they are deprived and should be adopted by WFN.  Entries are accepted online at www.wfn.tv/adopt or via mail to: WFN, 184 Pearl Street, Suite 302, Toronto, Ontario, M5H 1L5: “WFN Adopt an Angler Contest”.  WFN will also award the 29 secondary prizes consisting of $250 gift card to Bass Pro Shops. The contest is open to residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) and all submissions must be received by July 31, 2009.

The videos, photos and essays will be posted online at www.wfn.tv/adopt to be voted upon by WFN viewers and website visitors.  The top 10 vote getters will be voted upon by a panel of judges including WFN show hosts Mariko Izumi, JP DeRose, Mark Melnyk and Salt Water Sportsman’s own George Poveromo.
