Anyone desiring to go fishing in southeast Louisiana should contact the marina they intend to use to see if the facility is up and running. Many remain closed at this writing, and many of those that are open are offering only minimal services and supplies.
Notably, Grand Isle is reported to be presently accessible only by boat, air, and 4-wheelers. Marinas and launch-sites west of Morgan City were generally unaffected by the storm. Word of caution: Watch out for debris, both floating and sunken!
