Seven Genmar salt water boat companies have joined with Bombardier’s Evinrude engine company to introduce the Backwater Fishing School, which will begin this month. The four-night, three-day school will be held at Tarpon Lodge Sportsman Inn on Pine Island, Florida. The school will use boats from Aquasport, Hydra-Sports, Ranger, Seaswirl, Triumph and Wellcraft, all powered by Evinrude engines. The school will instruct students of all skill levels in angling techniques for redfish, speckled trout, kingfish, snook and tarpon, and will hold courses throughout the year.
