A few months ago, SWS reported on “top-secret” titanium leaders that were not yet available to the public. Well, now they are! The new titanium cable leaders – called Sup-R-Wire – from S&J; Mfg. offer a number of advantages over braided stainless and single-strand leaders. Perhaps the biggest is that titanium is much thinner and lighter than stainless steel of the same strength. This allows you to use an ultra-thin leader without sacrificing strength. In addition, titanium leaders are rust proof, resist kinking and coiling, and their flexibility allows baits to perform more naturally. Sup-R-Wire leaders feature quality ball-bearing swivels and locking snaps. They are available in 30, 50, 75 and 100 lb. test, in a lengths from 6″ to 24″.
