New for 2005 from Minn Kota are Quick Release brackets that make it easy to remove and reattach the company’s bow-mounted Riptide trolling motors. The brackets feature a low-profile design that leaves the deck clear once the motor has been removed, making them ideal for fly-fishing applications. Additionally, the bracket handle can be secured with a padlock for theft prevention. The bracket-mounting package includes stainless-steel hardware and locking pin. Available adapter plates allow hole patterns from previously mounted units or aluminum quick-release brackets to be used with the new brackets.
