Micron 66 Complies

Bottom paints containing the antifoulant tributyltin (TBT) will be illegal to apply shortly after January 1, 2003, so Interlux is offering an effective alternative. Micron 66 (which replaces Micron 44) utilizes Biolux Self Polishing Copolymer technology that chemically controls the biocide releases system and results in a continuously self-smoothing paint surface that keeps growth off and minimizes hull drag for peak performance. Available in red, blue and black, it will last two years or more and can be applied over any TBT bottom paint after an application of primer. Interlux, Union, NJ; (800) 468-7589; www.yachtpaint.com.
