These new “technical” fishing gloves from Bluefever Designs are just the ticket for handling a wide range of fishing chores, from lip-gripping tarpon to leadering marlin. Made of soft, stretchy nylon, the comfortable, form-fitting gloves feature slip-resistant, faux-leather palms and an adjustable wrist strap. The top-of-the-line Release gloves ($29.95), shown, feature rubber “waves” on the fingers and palm for a sure grip, while the Short Pump ($16.95) is a half-finger design. There’s also a full-fingered Utility model that sells for $19.95. Bluefever Designs, Santa Clarita, CA; (661) 263-1890; www.bluefevergloves.com.
