The Airmar R199 is a 2 kW dual-frequency, shoot-through transducer that is easy to install. The 3.5″ ceramic 200 kHz element delivers a narrow beam for shallow- to mid-depth target discrimination, while 15 dedicated 50 kHz elements sharply define bottom-contour and structure readings. The R199 comes with dual transmission lines to interface with 2 kW sounders, but is available with an internal diplexer for single-line sounders.
