Before I trailer my center console 15 miles to the launch ramp for a day of offshore fishing, I cover the console windscreen with soft kitchen plastic wrap. When I arrive at the ramp, I can easily peel off all the bugs I pick up along the way. It is much quicker and less trouble than trying to clean the windshield, and much better than looking through dead bugs all day.
