Raised fore and aft platforms offer good footing for fish-fighting anglers, while lower gunwales make for simplified fish handling and release. The lengthy list of standard equipment includes a forward 15 1/2-gallon recirculating live well and a 20-gallon live well aft, a built-in castnet-storage bin and a molded rod locker that holds two eight- and two 6 1/2-foot rods. The insulated fish box keeps the catch fresh. Rounding out the features are a stainless folding ladder and an anchor locker to stow the hook. The cleverly designed center console is compact and offers increased deck space for anglers to move about the boat. It also provides plenty of room for optional equipment such as electronics, a custom T-top or Bimini top and helm seats. A 54-quart cooler fits under the helm seat and an aft mechanical locker provides access to rigging and the bilge. Built with a molded fiberglass stringer system, non-skid deck surfaces, a self-bailing deck, and positive foam flotation, the 1901 Bay Pro was built with the comfort and safety of the angler in mind.
