Polar 2310 Bay Series

Polar’s new 2310 Bay Boat adds a whole new wrinkle to traditional bay boat styling. The unique hull of the 2310 features a dramatic bow flair, increased freeboard and knifelike entry. The hull’s shape, combined with a transom deadrise of 12.5 degrees, provides a smooth ride. It easily handles a variety of water conditions in bays, oceans and the shallows. The hull also features full composite construction with a fiberglass liner and stringer system for added durability.

Almost every square inch of the deck offers built-in amenities and storage space. Lockable rod compartments located forward along both sides readily accommodate fly rods, while undergunwale storage holds rods up to 10 feet in length. In addition, several large lockable storage compartments occupy the sole of the cockpit, along with two more in the aft deck and two built-in flush-mounted locking tackle boxes with removable trays. A large insulated fish box also comes standard. The helm seat features a removable cooler with a reversible backrest. The combination of the specially designed and rigged standard 38-gallon livewell in the transom and the two optional livewells, midship and forward, provide a capacity of over 96 gallons strategically placed on the boat’s centerline.

One innovative feature on the 2310 is the inclusion of two 5-gallon-bucket storage areas under the aft seats. The aft seating lids (also designed to be cutting boards) can be removed to allow access to buckets, which can hold chum, cast nets or trash or even act as a fly-line tamer for anglers casting from the rear deck. These seats have backrests that are actually rotocast leaning posts, which can be adjusted for height.

The 2310 Bay also offers the ability to go farther, faster and longer with a fuel capacity of 87 gallons and an engine rating of up to 250 hp. The automotive-style electrical system on the console features plug-and-play connections, making it simple to add and replace components and accessories.
