Nicholas has fished in Belize, England and Ireland; on the west coast of Florida; and in the Florida Keys — in addition to on his home island of Jamaica — but he enjoys catching small fish from the beach or wherever he can wet a line. He caught this nice wahoo, estimated at 45 pounds, off Port Antonio, Jamaica. Nicholas also won a kids fishing tournament out of Tropic Star Lodge in Panama. “I have released two Atlantic sailfish, two Pacific blue marlin and one Pacific sailfish,” Nicholas said, “but I still enjoy fishing for reef fish. Even though I like to eat fish and do keep some, I love to release fish when I catch them so they can grow bigger and increase the population of fish. I hope that more fishermen will learn to release fish so that we will always be able to catch them.” Good idea, Nicholas!
