New Smyrna Beach, Fla. — Built around one of the top fishing tournaments in the nation — the Striker — FishStock, the one-of-a-kind festival of fishing and fun, is back for a 10th year this Memorial Day weekend, May 25-27. Offering anglers and their families the total saltwater experience, FishStock brings together two fishing tournaments, a 5K run, a boat show, seminars and great entertainment, all at Riverside Park in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

FishStock comprises two signature fishing competitions: the Striker Offshore Tournament, now in its 36th year, and the Redfish-Trout Challenge, both of which are presented by Mercury Marine and Yellowfin Yachts. The FishStock competitions are two of the largest fishing contests in the country, attracting nearly 800 competitive anglers from throughout the U.S. to compete for cash and prizes.

The Striker has been in the community and a success for more than three decades by focusing on the “striking fish” that offshore anglers target most: tuna, wahoo, dolphin and kingfish. The novelty of the Redfish-Trout Challenge, coupled with the growth of and enthusiasm for inshore fishing in the Mosquito Lagoon area, have made the Challenge one of the most exciting inshore fishing contests around.

In addition to all the action on the water, anglers and their families will experience an exciting lineup of fun on land at the FishStock Village, including live music, food, fishing clinics, tackle exhibits, a boat show, adult and youth fishing seminars and more.

Returning this year will be the FishStock 5K and family fun run, brought to you in part by Sony Walkman, along with KidStock, which will provide 400 rods and reels to kids 6 to 16 who register at the event. This year’s seminars will be hosted by Rick Murphy, host of the Florida Insider Fishing Report, and will be held Saturday only, May 26.
