Simrad's RA55 radar provides commercial radar power for recreational boats. The dual-range 25kW radar offers 120-nautical-mile range and supports both 6' and 9' open-slotted array antennae. The waterproof unit measures 17" wide by 13" high by 5.2" deep and can be flush-mounted. The RA55 can be interfaced with Simrad chart plotters and has many easy-to-use functions including dual-range mode, high-speed update, semi-3-D display to discern weak and strong targets, wide-screen views and automatic tracking of targets.
